Andrew Brown, 53, had been on trial in Aberdeen accused of raping the women on various occasions between January 2008 and November 2010. Brown had been accused of attacking one of the women twice while she was sleeping at a house in Perth between November 2001 and March 2002. He was also accused of sexually assaulting the second woman while she was sleeping on various occasions nine years later. He had denied all the charges, claiming each encounter was consensual.
