Dewars Centre hosts top felines at international show
ByThe Courier Reporter
The first Fdration Internationale Fline (FIFe) cat show to take place in Scotland attracted hundreds of entrants.
Cat fanciers from across the UK and Europe gathered at the Dewars Centre in Perth for the two-day event.
Despite the wet weather, the competition was brightened up by judges dressing up in Hawaiian costume.
The event also featured trade stands selling everything from novelties, cat food and grooming products, to art, and even custom driftwood cat scratchers.
FIFe is the largest cat federation in the world and has 42 members in 40 countries, as well as 216 international judges.
