Pupils in Tayside and Fife who want to learn their exam results by email or text must sign up for the service today.
The deadline for registering with MySQA, which is run by the Scottish Qualifications Authority, is 5pm today. So far 44,000 pupils have joined.
The service guarantees that pupils will get their results electronically by 9am on August 4, when exam certificates are delivered. It is aimed at those will be away from home on the day, or who just cannot wait for the post.
Around 160,000 students are awaiting their national qualification results, which include Advanced Highers, Highers, Intermediate 1 and 2 and Standard Grades.
SQA head of marketing John McMorris said, “MySQA is our direct link with candidates. It lets learners view their qualification information, check their personal details and is particularly useful at this time of year when they can get results via text message and email by 9am on results day.
“While we are keen candidates make use of the results service, MySQA is about more than simply delivering grades early. We have transformed MySQA into an all-year-round service where candidates can access an online record of all of their qualifications and achievements throughout their academic career.”
The SQA website at www.sqa.org.uk also has an exam support section for pupils.
