Police hunting for a man who indecently assaulted a 22-year-old female shop worker are appealing for witnesses.
The woman was on her own in Lava in Cockburn Street in Edinburgh’s Old Town at 11.30am on Thursday last week when the man entered the shop, police said.

She challenged him and he left, heading down Cockburn Street to Craig’s Close.
The man is 40 to 50 years old, 6ft and has a tanned complexion with dark shaved hair and a “beer belly”. He was wearing a white shirt, dark trousers, smart black shoes and spoke with a Scottish accent, police said.
