The man, thought to be in his 20s, was struck by the vehicle in Pinefield Crescent, Elgin, at about 6:15am on Monday. He was taken to Dr Grays hospital in the town to be treated. The extent of his injuries is not yet known, police said. Officers have appealed for witnesses and the road is expected to remain closed for some time.
