The fatal crash took place on the A970 near Helensfield, to the east of Alloa, at 8.42am. The 59-year-old male driver of a blue Nissan Qashqai died. The road was closed for about three hours to allow a full investigation to take place. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101.
