The collision between the bike and a car happened in Provost Rust Drive in the north west of the city at around 9.20pm on Tuesday. The motorcyclist died at the scene and his female passenger was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Her injuries are believed to be serious. The woman driver of the car, a white Volkswagon Polo, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses.
