First Scotland cap for footballing Fife pupil Michael Scott

Inverkeithing High School sixth-year pupil Michael Scott has just been awarded his first Scotland cap.
The school’s depute head boy, who has recently signed with Livingston FC, has been selected for this year’s under-18 Scottish schoolboys squad.
Michael, who has played in all the school teams throughout the years, played in the under-16 Fife Cup-winning Inverkeithing High team during the 2007-8 season.
He played for Dunfermline Athletic FC from the age of five to 11 and then played with Hearts when he was 11 and 12 last season he played with East Fife.
He was selected for the Fife under-15 squad and played in last year’s under-18 Fife team that reached the final of the regional Scottish Cup at East End Park.
He has again been selected for this year’s Fife team.
