Emergency services attended the two-vehicle collision on the A9 at Ralia near Newtonmore at around 6pm on Tuesday. Three people were fatally injured and three other casualties were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. It is understood the three killed were a young girl and two adults. The road was closed to traffic in both directions with diversions put in place via A86 Newtonmore to Laggan Road. The road was fully reopened shortly after 11pm.
