Man suffers life-threatening injuries in Aberdeenshire crash

A man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after the 4×4 vehicle he was driving crashed into a tree in Aberdeenshire this morning.
The incident occurred on the B977 road between Mill of Fintray and Kintore at 6.45am.
The man, who was driving a silver Nissan Navara, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI).
A police spokesman said: “At around 6.45am, a car left the road and collided with a tree. The male driver has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and his injuries have been described as life threatening.”
The road was closed while an investigation of the scene was carried out.
