Snow and closures at other airports have been blamed for a drop in passenger numbers at Scotland’s busiest airport last month.
Edinburgh Airport has reported that 525,637 passengers passed through in January, down 5.7% from the same period last year (557,373).
It said domestic passengers dipped by 5.9% from 312,522 to 293,979 while international passengers were down 5.4% from 244,851 to 231,658.
Glasgow Airport also reported a dip last month, with almost 412,000 people travelling through 1.2% less than the same period last year.
Aberdeen Airport recorded its 24th month of consecutive growth in January, with a 0.6% increase in passenger numbers compared to the same period last year.
