Michael McInnes, who is serving a sentence for attempted murder, posted photos of drunken nights out despite being due back at the prison on December 4. Friends of the 23-year-old have posted comments including “Keep up the good work” and “Run like the wind!” McInnes was jailed for six years in 2010 for trying to kill Kevin McNee. He is believed to frequent the Glenluce area in Wigtownshire and the Bellshill area of Glasgow. He is described as six foot tall, with short brown hair and has a star tattoo on his neck behind both ears. Anyone who has seen him, or who knows where he is, should call Police Scotland on 101, or speak to any police officer. For more on this story, see Saturday’s Courier or try our digital edition.
