Part of park in Milngavie sealed off after ‘human remains’ discovery

Police have sealed off part of a park after the discovery of possible human remains.

A member of the public made the find near waterworks in Mugdock Country Park, Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire, on Tuesday.

Police have cordoned off the area while investigations take place.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We can confirm the discovery of potential human remains in the grounds of Mugdock Country Park.

“Officers are at the scene and examinations are being carried out to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the discovery.”
