Fifteen people have been arrested as part of a crackdown on drugs, violence and anti-social behaviour in Aberdeen.
Police executed six drug search warrants across the city in the past two days.
They arrested three people in connection with possessing drugs after seizing cannabis and cocaine and three in connection with supplying heroin.
Nine people were also arrested in connection with warrants linked to crimes of violence and public disorder. All will appear at court in due course.
The police activity was part of the ongoing Operation Maple, which was launched in October 2010 to target those involved in drugs and violence.
Chief Inspector George Macdonald said the operation has provided “excellent results” over the last two days with the 15 arrests.
He said: “This will have had a real impact in terms of disruption of criminal activities.
“Through Operation Maple we have a very clear focus on those who involve themselves in violence, drugs and anti-social behaviour.
“Since April 2013 we have now recovered more than £200,000 of controlled drugs, arrested more than 100 persons, seized £40,000 in cash, £30,000 of counterfeit goods and almost £40,000 of stolen goods.
“Crucial to much of this success has been the real willingness of communities to speak up and name those who cause harm and concern. Our actions should demonstrate that we have and continue to listen and target those who need to be locked up.”
Since the inception of Operation Maple in October 2010 almost £1.2 million worth of controlled drugs has been seized and around 600 people arrested.
Mr Macdonald said: “Whilst these results are significant and have clearly disrupted the small amount of people who are involved in drug dealing and violence in our communities there will be no let-up in our campaign.”
The operation involves a variety of partner agencies, including Aberdeen City Council, NHS Grampian, the Scottish Government and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, as well as support and funding from the Aberdeen Alcohol and Drug Partnership.
