Police investigate abuse allegations at Fettes College

Allegations of historic abuse at one of Scotland’s most exclusive schools are being investigated by police.
A probe into “reports of non-recent abuse” at Edinburgh’s Fettes College has been carried out.
Police Scotland said the circumstances would be reported to the Crown Office.
A spokeswoman for the school, which dates back to 1870, said: “Police Scotland have carried out investigations into allegations of non-recent abuse.
“Fettes College have co-operated fully with their inquiries and no further comment will be made at this time.”
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that an investigation has been carried out into reports of non-recent abuse and it is the intention to report the circumstances to Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.”
