Scotland is bracing itself for more high winds with severe weather warnings in place throughout much of the country.
Gusts of up to 65mph are expected throughout the day and localised travel disruption is expected, the Met Office said.
Traffic Scotland is warning of potential disruption throughout the country, with some roads and bridges already affected.
Surface water is causing difficult driving conditions in the Strathclyde region.
All lanes are restricted in both directions indefinitely on the A1 A6093 at Haddington and Thistly Cross, East Lothian.
The Met Office said: “Winds will strengthen during Saturday morning to bring gales to many locations.
“The swathe of strongest winds will start in the south west of the warning region during the early morning before transferring north-eastwards through the day.
“Gust speeds are expected to reach 55-60mph, with more exposed locations seeing some gusts of 65mph.
“The public should be aware of the potential for some localised travel disruption.”
The northern tip of Northern Ireland and parts of northern England, especially to the east of the Pennines, are also expected to be affected.
The winds are expected to be moderate from the west during Saturday afternoon, with north-eastern Scotland the last place to see winds reduce.
High winds have are thought to have contributed to an overturned coach which almost plunged dozens of passengers into a loch at the Rest and Be Thankful in Argyll on Thursday.
