Police were called to Lovers Walk, next to the River Forth, at around 4.50am after the body was found. The woman has not yet been identified and officers said inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are at an early stage. They closed the road at Customs Roundabout and Dean Crescent to carry out inquiries at the scene.
