Two teenagers have been assaulted and their iPhones stolen as they waited at a bus stop, police have said.
The boys, aged 14 and 15, were standing at a bus stop on the east pavement of Clermiston Road North, near the junction with Queensferry Road, in Edinburgh at 7.20pm on Wednesday when they were approached by two older teenagers.
Police said that the pair, aged about 17, ran towards the boys, assaulted them and took their iPhones.
The suspects, who are both white with local accents, ran off towards Queensferry Road and the young teenagers ran to a nearby house.
One of the suspects is 5ft 7in with a tanned complexion, a chubby face and possibly has a mole on the right side of his chin. He was wearing a black hooded top, dark jogging bottoms and black plimsolls.
The other is 5ft 11in with short brown hair and at the time was wearing a red Adidas hooded top, without stripes down the side, and black tracksuit bottoms.
Police have asked witnesses to contact them on 101.
