Forty firefighters have tackled a blaze at an industrial park in Glasgow this morning.
The fire service was called to a unit at Shanks Industrial Park in the Barrhead area at 2.30am.
Crews from Barrhead and Pollock stations arrived at the scene to find a large blaze in the single-storey building.
Additional crews were immediately requested by the incident commander.

Group Commander Brian Winter, said: “Forty firefighters at the scene brought the blaze under control using main water jets and firefighters remain at the incident to dampen down the area.
“The service’s technical support team have confirmed the construction of the building and introduced measures to ensure there is no risk to the firefighters and general public.”
