Netflix have revealed the cast for Masters Of The Universe: Revelation which features Mark Hamill, Lena Headey and Chris Wood.
The anime series will feature characters from the Masters Of The Universe franchise, which was originally a comic that was made into a film in 1987.
The US streaming giant’s series will focus on the unresolved storylines of some of the characters
Star Wars star Hamill will play Skeletor, Game Of Thrones’ Headey will play Evil-Lyn and The Vampire Diaries’ Chris Wood will play Prince Adam/He-Man.
Executive producer Rob David said: “At its core, Masters Of The Universe is all about wanting the power to be the best version of yourself, and the series will bring this message to life in an entirely new way.”
Other actors who will appear in the series include Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Sarah Michelle Gellar, Game Of Thrones star Liam Cunningham and Office Space’s Stephen Root.
Kevin Smith, another of the show’s executive producers, praised the “all-star cast”, adding: “Chris, Sarah, Mark, Lena and the other amazing actors and actresses have given performances so powerful and real in a show that features a talking giant green tiger.
“With these fantastic performers behind our characters, it’ll be crazy easy to immerse yourself in the swords and sorcery of our epic sci-fi soap opera.”
