A rustic wooden retreat with a rowing boat for a roof has sailed off with the Shed of the Year title.
Sited 750ft above sea level in the Cambrian Mountains, near Machynlleth, mid Wales, the shed is made entirely from recycled materials.
Jubilant sheddie Alex Holland spoke of his delight at winning the annual competition and already has plans to boost the electricity powering his shed by buying a wind turbine with his £1,000 prize money.
Interior light comes courtesy of a 20-watt solar panel, which powers the LED lighting. Other luxuries include a wood burner, 12v sound system, a gas cooker and even a fridge to chill drinks.
