The moment four robbers in balaclavas used a battering ram to break into a jewellers and steal 13 watches worth nearly £200,000 has been revealed in footage released by police.
The men dressed in dark clothing smashed their way into the jewellers in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
The footage from Greater Manchester Police shows a security guard being pushed to the ground, while one of the men used a metal pole to stop the security shutters from closing.
Two of the men then smashed the shop’s glass cabinets to steal the watches worth £186,820, placing them in a bag held by a third man.
Another of the offenders then activated a smoke cloak security system, before the group fled in a black Land Rover.
The vehicle was later found abandoned in nearby Bowdon. Police believe the men then got into a white Mercedes.
The robbery happened at around 12.20pm on June 10 at a David M Robinson Ltd branch, a specialist in luxury watches.
