A man who wanted “sex every day” lived with two women – and planned to marry both, a family court judge has heard.
The man, in his 30s, had bought engagement rings for both and thought that the arrangement could “go on indefinitely”, Judge Alan Booth said.
He spent a “significant” part of the day in bed, said the judge.
Detail has emerged in a ruling by the judge following a family court hearing in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Judge Booth said he had been asked to consider issues relating to the care of the man’s two children.
He said a relative had raised concerns that the children were victims of sexual abuse.
Evidence about the man’s living arrangements had emerged at a preliminary stage of the litigation relating to the youngsters.
Judge Booth did not identify anyone involved but said the women were in their 20s.
“The two women described (the man) and his sexual appetite in remarkably similar ways,” said the judge.
“They both found (him) to be highly demanding, wanting sex every day. He would sulk if they did not agree to sex.”
The judge added: “(He) clearly thought this was an arrangement that could go on indefinitely.
“He bought engagement rings for both. He had a plan to marry both, or if that was not possible, marry one and have the other change her surname by deed poll to his name.
“He accepts that he is sexually driven. He would spend a significant part of the day in bed.”
