‘Several hurt’ as car crashes into Costa cafe in Kent

Several people have reportedly been injured after a car crashed into a Costa coffee shop.
Pictures on social media showed an Audi embedded in the front of the cafe in Westerham, near Sevenoaks in Kent.
Kent Police attended the site in The Green shortly after 10.30am, with a spokesman saying: “Officers, Secamb and KFRS are at the scene and there are a several reported injuries. The road has been closed.”
Peter Thornley posted pictures showing five ambulances at the scene, saying:”Someone has just driven a car straight into Costa coffee in Westerham. Madness.
“Centre of Westerham now all closed off.”
Kent Police tweeted: “A witness centre has been set up at The Chequers public house in High St, £Westerham following this morning’s collision in The Green.”
