A national internet outage has caused problems for people throughout Tayside and Fife.
BT confirmed earlier this afternoon that they have suffered connection issues throughout the country with people all over the UK taking to social media to express their frustration.
Angry residents throughout Courier Country reported that they have been without the service for at least two hours.
Elsewhere, Raith Rovers advised members of the media travelling to tonight’s match with Rangers that they too were without broadband.
The club however later tweeted to say their service was back up and running.
A BT spokeswoman confirmed they were aware of the incident and that the majority of customers have now been reconnected.
She however insisted there was no evidence to suggest the firm had been the victim of a cyber-attack.
The spokeswoman said: “Large numbers of customers have been experiencing temporary issues with their broadband services this afternoon. Customers can still receive and make calls as normal.
“We’ve been working hard to fix the issue and are glad to report that nearly every customer affected is now reconnected, approximately two hours after the problem started.
“We apologise to any affected customers for the inconvenience.
“There is no evidence at this stage to suggest that we were subject to a malicious attack.”
BT also took to Twitter, saying: “Sorry to everyone having problems with BT Broadband service this afternoon.
“Service is being restored, we’ll keep you updated on progress.”
