Three men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was found lying on a footpath.
Police were alerted at 1.50pm yesterday after the man, 32, was found in Golden Grove, Southampton, Hampshire.
A post mortem examination will be carried out later by a Home Office pathologist to establish a cause of death although a Hampshire police spokeswoman said there was “no obvious traumatic injury”.
She added that the death was being treated as unexplained
Three men, all in their early 40s, have been arrested in connection with the death and are in custody.
Detective Chief Inspector Becky Riggs said: “If anyone has any information regarding this incident that can help this investigation, I would urge you to call us as soon as possible.
“In particular, we are very keen to trace two men who were seen near the body outside the flats in Golden Grove shortly before police arrived yesterday afternoon. They will know who they are when they hear or read this, and we would urge them to come forward and call us as soon as possible.”
