The Hills star Kristin Cavallari penned an emotional tribute to her brother on the third anniversary of his death.
Michael Cavallari was reported missing in November 2015 in the US state of Utah.
The 30-year-old’s body was discovered three days later and an autopsy found he died from hypothermia.
On Tuesday, Kristen, 31, marked the third anniversary of his death by sharing a heartfelt tribute alongside a black and white picture of the pair together.
She wrote: “Home from a busy morning and thinking of my brother. Today is the 3 year anniversary of his passing and I think this year is one of the hardest- as it’s real now.
“He’s not coming back and the shock is finally gone. Today and every single day, Mikey, we miss you.”
Michael’s Honda Civic was found abandoned near a major freeway in Utah on November 27 2015. His body was discovered about three miles from his car.
At the time, Kristen thanked fans for their “love, support and prayers during this very difficult time”.
In August, it was announced that The Hills – a reality TV show following the lives of glamorous young women in California – would be returning for a reboot.
But fans were upset when it emerged neither Kristen or the programme’s other star, Lauren Conrad, would feature.
