Husky’s haircut inspires fellow owners to share their dog’s close shaves

A husky’s close shave has brought it viral stardom and inspired dog owners to share their own pooch’s entertainingly short haircuts.

Hannah Gomez, 19, said she was “shocked” after her four-year-old Siberian Husky Jojo returned from a new grooming parlour with the new trim, which has been shared tens of thousands of times on Twitter.

In response to the cut, Ms Gomez, from Texas, told the Press Association: “It was something I was not expecting!”

“He has reacted to the cut just fine,” she added. “He seems unbothered by it and is still extremely happy.”

Many found Jojo’s haircut somewhat amusing.

However, others were inspired to share their own dog’s close shaves.

Some even shared before and after pictures of the over-zealous shearing their hounds have received.

But dogs are not the only pets to have been on the receiving end of such fur-removals.
