Dundee-born centenarian Celia (Cissy) Hosie has died at the age of 104.
Mrs Hosie’s family moved to Fife when she was a little girl.
After leaving school, she took a job as a nanny at Knockderry Castle on the west coast.
While working there she met her husband, Andrew, who was employed as a gardener on the estate.
The couple shared a love of motorbikes and travelled around the country on two wheels.
When Mr Hosie bought a new bike, fashion-conscious Mrs Hosie would ensure she had a matching outfit.
Mrs Hosie worked in London for a spell and they travelled to the capital together by motorbike.
Shortly after they were married in Methil, Mr Hosie went to serve in the war as a despatch rider.
Mr Hosie passed away aged 90 in 1998.
The couple did not have children, but Mrs Hosie was a devoted aunt and great-aunt.
One of her jobs was working as a seamstress at a local factory. A skilled dressmaker, she made many outfits for her nieces and nephews.
Mrs Hosie enjoyed good health up until her 100th birthday, when she still enjoyed a game of bowls.
Described by family as quick-witted, she also enjoyed swimming and a game of cards.
She spent the last year of her life as a resident in Abbotsford Care Home, Methil.
