My new family are settling in well around me. Hard to believe I’ve only been with them for a three weeks, but I’m getting them whipped into shape.
It’s been busy. I took my ginger master to Broughty Ferry on the bus the other day, which was good fun. Some very nice ladies gave me pats on the journey and I rewarded them by gnawing their hands. I also got my master on the bus for free they don’t charge Guide Dogs and their walkers. Good on them, I say.
We then went to a coffee shop…pretty boring, so I slept under the table. The ladies were nice though and they gave me pats.
The next day, I was finally allowed off the lead on a walk. I had a good run and met a few dogs for games and larks. Good fun and I mostly came back when called (see video) I don’t always come back just to keep him guessing.
Then I went to my first golf tournament when the two of us headed down to the Dunhill at Carnoustie. Strange game. I got bored at one point and started eating the grass in the rough my master didn’t seem to mind as he said he might land his ball there on his next round.
I then had a long chat with French golfer Thomas Levet. He was a fine chap. I even sat first time when he said (I’d NEVER do that for my dopey master). He said he had two Alsatians at home…I was a bit glad they weren’t with him!
Then it was back home to trash the house. Hooray!
