Greetings, culture vultures.
If it is another huge helping of cultural capers across Europe you are after then look no further than Thursday’s Courier.
Not content with gallivanting off to Gateshead and Liverpool to find out more about the reinvigorating impact of building large museums in downtrodden waterfront areas (if only we could think of somewhere local that was considering a similar plan…) we set sail (actually our man flew) for Bilbao, home to the rather wonderful Guggenheim museum.
While in Spain our aforementioned fellow conducted a whirlwind of interviews, all of which are lovingly reproduced in your Thursday Courier.
So say hasta la vista to your loved ones and rush out to the newsagent, to whom you can say hola, avez-vous le Courier? Or something along those lines.
You will not be disappointed.
However, if your idea of culture begins and ends with the old goggle-box and celebrity then fear not, you are also catered for.
We have all the latest after famous faces took to the famous Bake-Off tent for the first time in this year’s Comic Relief contest.
Soggy-bottoms ahoy.
Loyal readers will be well aware of the storm caused by our private parking probing.
Ever since we started our investigations we have been a like a cat-on-a-hot-tin-roof with a bone. By which I mean we’ve been jolly thorough.
In Thursday’s Courier we have news of a BIG (it really is that size) exclusive which is likely to bring cheer to many who feel they’ve been unfairly penalised.
Well worth a read.
And while I’m on the subject of cars (seamless segueway alert) we have all the latest on wacky plans to introduce driverless cars to the streets of the UK.
But are they really all that wacky?
Actually, we could all be using them by 2020, apparently.
Remarkable stuff. We would quite simply not be doing our duty if we didn’t examine the issue in more depth. So we did.
Read all about it in The Courier.
* Thursday’s Courier comes with a satisfaction guarantee (not literally, but I wouldn’t be worried if it did. It really is that good). Please do snap up your copy. Failing that I find myself asking yet again (and this is not for the first time) why on earth not give our digital edition a whirl?
