Mopping up.
On Tuesday there was a lot of very heavy rain. On Wednesday it was lovely.
The good weather was something of a blessing for those blighted by the appalling conditions the previous day as it gave them something of an opportunity to clean up.

They have conquered more than 700 of them.
Yes, you read that right. More than 700. Not bad specially since the lady is scared of cows, so many circuitous routes had to be taken.

Wednesday night brought with it one of the most eagerly anticipated televisual events of the year.
That’s right, yet another re-run of The Simpsons was on.
But not only that, tucked away among the televisual treats was none other that the Great British Bake Off final.
The innuendo-ometer went into overdrive as soggy bottoms were decried and the winner crowned.
We reflect on all the “action”.
