You simply cannot beat a good sandwich.
Just ask Scotland’s very own NFL star.
Okay, okay, I hear your question.
“Why on earth would I ask him? What does he know about sandwiches?”
Well The Courier can answer that question (or rather two questions. Cheeky).
And will do so with some considerable relish (both literal and metaphorical) in Wednesday’s edition.
But just so you don’t spend every available moment between now and getting your hands on a copy in a state of nervous excitement, I will provide a tasty titbit.
Said NFL star (who hails from Arbroath by the by) has had a sandwich created in his honour and it is proving most lucrative. A huge hit in fact.
I’ll say no more for the moment.
We could, quite happily, have filled a whole Courier with sandwich news, but we decided against it. Largely because we had so much other good stuff to cram in.
Not least news of the A9 cameras finally being switched on. After months of controversy, we decided the only way to really get to grips with the new system was to road-test it (as it were). So we did.
How did our road trip go? Find out in Wednesday’s Courier.
Bins. It’s not rocket science.
In fact it isn’t any kind of science. It is just a case of putting your rubbish in the right place. But Fifers can’t seem to do it. And the council has, quite frankly, had enough.
Find out why in your far from rubbish Courier (as and when you have finished please remember to recycle paper in the appropriate repository thanks).
And finally (imagine, if you will, at this stage a newsreader smiling in an almost half-mocking manner) you may have noticed that the weatherman (or indeed lady) does not always get it absolutely right.
Well (self-indulgent chuckle, please) all that could be a thing of the past thanks to a new Met Office super-computer. It is capable of performing more than 16,000 trillion calculations per second (almost as many as me).
So next time a certain Mr Fish says there isn’t a hurricane coming, he might even be right…
Wonderful stuff whatever the weather in Wednesday’s Courier so please do be sure to pick up your copy. Failing that why not try our digital edition?
