Coming up in Tuesday’s Courier must be nice

Coming up in Tuesday’s Courier must be nice

A dental crown worn by Elvis Presley went missing while “on tour” in England to highlight good oral health.

It was found, somewhat inexplicably, en route to Dundee.

It really is a quite simply sensational story which, I confidently predict, you will be determined to get your teeth into.

I don’t want to make a meal of it, so I’ll say no more than to add your appetite for a cracking tale will be sated through the medium of Tuesday’s Courier.

Other tasty tales include more on Dundee’s £1.9 million lottery winner. Must be nice. Must be very nice. Must be very, very nice. I could go on but I assume you have the gist.

Meanwhile, if you are a parent you may be well advised to take a deep breath before reading on…

The average mum and dad, a survey reveals, spend SIX MONTHS driving their kids from A to B. We’ve all heard of the bank of mum and dad, but it seems the taxi of mum and dad is every bit as significant. Food for thought but I do warn you it may well be enough to drive you up the wall (though preferably not when your kids are in the car).

Our political editor Kieran Andrews is a jolly decent chap. We rewarded him for that level of jolly decency by packing him off to Glasgow, where he found out more about the Tories devolution plans (that’s if the nation votes “No” in the referendum). You can feast on (read) the fruits of his labour in Tuesday’s deeply enriching Courier.

What have Danny Wallace, Ricky Ross and lots of other lovely fellas got in common? Well, for starters they are all from Dundee. And for a main course they are about to be honoured. For desert, they will be joining the world of top academia. To enjoy the full bhoona (torturous, I know) be sure to snap up your copy of The Courier.

As if all that wasn’t enough, there is no doubt and I mean absolutely none whatsoever we firmly enter the unmissable category with our coverage of sheep playing football. Baa-rking out orders to each other, the sheep run about like headless chickens (confusing, I know) in a phenomenal warm-up to the World Cup. Wooly jumpers for goal-posts and all that. Wonderful, wonderful stuff.

A terrific Tuesday is on the table for all of our readers. Please do be sure to pick up Tuesday’s Courier. Failing that (and while a failing, it would be by no means terminal given the alternative option I am set to provide) why not try our digital edition? (Told you it wasn’t terminal).
