Sweet and spicy.
It may surprise readers to know The Courier’s Coming Up is not the peak of physical perfection.
A certain rotundness of frame is attributable directly to a fondness for pastry, sugar and jam doughnuts, in short.
So imagine our delight that the good people of Tayside and Fife will soon be equally blurry round the edges as a well-known confectionery chain sets up shop in Perth, Dundee and Dunfermline.
We hit the streets of one of said communities to begin the process.
And if doughnuts don’t float your boat, what about pies? Curry pies? The hottest curry pies in Scotland?
Now you’re interested and so were we so we sent our man to taste test them too. Find out how he got on. Fiery stuff.
Our investigative genius does not stop there either. Remember this video? Well we’ve unmasked Tartan Farmer Boy and he’s a jolly good chap as it turns out.
Read all about him in The Courier.
We were also with fans and friends of Forfarian, Greg Drummond as he won Olympic silver as part of the Team GB curling rink and caught up with the Abertay students who have their hands on the latest gaming gadgetry.
With all that going on, it’s a wonder we had time to cover budget meetings, upcoming Royal visits, solar farm plans and avalanches.
Not to mention court, council and all the sport you could possibly handle.
But we have. And you can read it all in Saturday’s Courier or try our digital edition.
