Abuse from “nationalist mobs” will not stop Jim Murphy touring the country speaking to people on the street about the referendum, the Labour MP has said ahead of a trip to Tayside.
The Shadow Secretary of State for International Development will today embark on day 74 of his 100-day tour around the country, which has seen him conduct small time rallies for the No campaign.
There have been some less than friendly moments, including a recent trip to Motherwell when a group chanted and shouted at the East Renfrewshire MP.
However, he is confident of a better reception when he visits Montrose, Carnoustie and Dundee.
