Thousands of council staff, civil servants and NHS employees are expected to stay away from work on November 30 in protest over changes to their pension deal.
The Labour group has confirmed its MSPs will boycott the Scottish Parliament in support of the workers, but there was uncertainty over what would happen to their pay.
