They are still learning the ropes of their new job but some of the SNP’s new MPs have already fallen foul of the rules at Westminster.
Some members breached House of Commons etiquette by taking selfies and posting pictures from the debating chamber on Twitter.
Newly-elected Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath MP Roger Mullin was snapped at the dispatch box, where his predecessor Gordon Brown once stood while Prime Minister.

The picture was posted by Argyll & Bute MP Brendan O’Hara who quipped: “First day in the chamber and never let it be said Roger Mullin lacks ambition.”
Mr Mullin was also snapped in a selfie alongside Airdrie & Shotts MP Neil Gray and Aberdeen North MP Kirsty Blackman on the commons benches.

Dunfermline and West Fife MP Douglas Chapman also tweeted a picture from the benches but has since deleted it from his account.
The party’s 56 MPs are using #team56 to document their activities at Westminster after last week’s election saw them win a record number of seats.
A Commons spokesperson said that photography in the chamber requires permission from the serjeant at arms but there have been no formal complaints and ‘flexibility and leniency’ will be applied to new members.
