Full details of the £89 million MPs claimed in expenses last year have been published online for the first time.
In Tayside and Fife, Ochil and South Perthshire MP Gordon Banks claimed the largest total amount £175,762.93.
His claims for direct Parliamentary expenses, which include accommodation, travel and subsistence, was £39,039.14.
The remainder of the total was for the costs of running his constituency office and staff salaries.
Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath MP Gordon Brown claimed £13,458.32 in Parliamentary expenses out of a total claim of £127,197.42.
Dunfermline and West Fife MP Thomas Docherty received a total of £170,379.93, with direct Parliamentary expenses costing £37, 268.
Glenrothes MP Lindsay Roy claimed a total of £143, 927.30. His direct expenses made up £31,251.93 of that amount.
Sir Menzies Campbell, Liberal Democrat for North East Fife, claimed £129,352.22, of which £13,876.18 was direct expenses.
Perth and North Perthshire MP Pete Wishart’s direct expenses made up £32,377.80 of his total £161, 078.79 claim and Angus MP Mike Weir made claims totalling of £148,714.39, with direct expenses of £36,115.
Dundee East MP Stewart Hosie made a total claim of £151, 936.45 with £31,570.34.
Across the city, Dundee West MP Jim McGovern claimed £16,821.94. His direct expenses totalled £31,227.60.
Mr McGovern had the highest staffing costs of all MPs in Tayside and Fife.
His payroll bill came to £115,518.71. By comparison, Mr Weir’s had the lowest payroll, £95,510.24.

”I value my staff very highly and they are paid accordingly.”
