Support for independence stands at 30%, according to the latest poll on Scotland’s future.
Three in 10 people would vote Yes if the ballot is held tomorrow, while 51% would vote No, the survey by TNS BMRB suggests.
The remaining 19% do not know how they would vote.
The survey of 1,002 people was conducted between March 20 and April 2, and follows the announcement of the referendum date on March 21.
Support for the Yes campaign is higher among men than women, at a respective 36% and 25%.
Meanwhile, 47% of men would vote No, compared with 55% of women. The remaining 17% of men and 21% of women do not know how they would vote.
The TNS BMRB poll follows a similar survey by Panelbase, conducted earlier in March, which shows that support for a Yes vote has grown to 36% and opposition to independence is at 46%, while 18% are undecided.
The Panelbase poll also suggests more support for independence among men (47%) than women (25%). Opposition was recorded at 40% for men and 52% for women.
