East Fife the main movers during a quiet transfer deadline day for Courier country

Transfer deadline day was something of a non-event in Tayside and Fife.
Dundee were hopeful of bringing in a midfielder on loan but the deal could not be put together.
Dens Park boss Barry Smith is not too perturbed, however, as he still has scope to add to his squad through an emergency loan, which is not time-restricted.
That is the same for all the lower league clubs, while St Johnstone, Dundee United and Dunfermline concluded their transfer activity before Wednesday’s window closing.
One side which did strengthen was East Fife.
John Robertson snapped up striker Paul McQuade, who had been released by St Mirren.
The striker followed manager Danny Lennon to Saints from Cowdenbeath last summer.
But his spell with the Paisley club was hampered by injury and he spent part of last season on loan at Forfar Athletic.
