Barry Smith looking to defence to set up win at Falkirk

Dundee boss Barry Smith believes another miserly defensive display can be the key to victory over Falkirk.
The Dark Blues travel to take on the Bairns on Saturday and Smith is looking for a repeat of how the backline played in the 1-0 win over Raith Rovers last weekend.
”I think another good defensive performance will be a must at Falkirk and that losing an early goal is not an option for us,” said Smith.
”When we defend like we did at Raith we give ourselves a platform on which to build.
”It gives you the opportunity to go on and take the points and we have to keep defending like that.”
Smith welcomed back defensive duo Rhys Weston and Matt Lockwood to training on Thursday.
Weston missed the Stark’s Park game because of a hamstring injury, while Lockwood only lasted to half-time after picking up a calf knock.
