Raith Rovers are determined to put their Dundee disappointment behind them when they travel to Hamilton this afternoon.
The Kirkcaldy men are looking to end a three-game losing sequence, culminating in the dismal home defeat to 10-man Dundee last weekend.
Despite that run, Rovers still find themselves sitting in third spot in the First Division and manager John McGlynn said: ”It is some consolation but it only tells you that there is going to be little between the teams in this league.
”There will be a lot of draws and games will be won by the odd goal. That is how fine a line it will be.
”We have had points snatched from us in our last couple of matches but we only have ourselves to blame for that.
”We need to show character and determination to bounce back and I am sure we can do that.”
Rovers are still without the injured Iain Davidson, while Ross Callachan is still suspended.
Accies manager Billy Reid is looking for his side to bounce back after losing top spot after going down to Queen of the South.
However, he is conscious that opposite number McGlynn will be wanting his men to do exactly the same following their late reverse to Dundee.
Reid said: ”Raith are coming here looking to make up for a one goal defeat so it should be an open contest.
”We have to be much quicker in everything we do if we are to take anything from this game, as we were really disappointing last time.
”I am looking for a much better performance in this game.”
Accies welcome back central defenders Mark McLaughlin and Simon Mensing after suspension kept them out.
However, winger Willie McLaren is unlikely to feature after going down with flu like symptoms during the week and midfielder Alex Neil remains out through injury.
