Still no date set for Michael Wallace’s Arbroath debut

No date has been placed on Arbroath striker Michael Wallace being ready for action following his summer move from junior side Lochore Welfare.

The front-man was signed by former boss Paul Sheerin after impressing in bounce games at the end of last season but a hip problem has delayed his introduction.

Gayfield assistant manager Todd Lumsden said: “Michael has not been able to train fully due to this problem and we have not been able to put on a date for it happening.

“It is disappointing as he is keen to get going and both myself and the manager Allan Moore are keen to see him in action.”
