Arbroath taking softly-softly approach with Lowdon

Arbroath’s management duo of Allan Moore and his assistant Todd Lumsden are taking a softly-softly approach to having former Celtic defender Jordan Lowdon ready for action.
The 22-year-old who returned to Scotland in the summer after spells with Oakleigh Cannons in Australia and New Zealand Premier League champions Waitakere United has yet to make his Red Lichties debut due to a niggling thigh problem.
The Gayfield side are preaching patience as Lumsden explained: “Jordan has returned to training but we have to take our time with him. Every time he gets close to full fitness he starts to feel a bit of pain and has a set-back.”
“Hopefully another few weeks of gently building him up will get him there.”
