Cowdenbeath have added yet another player to their ranks by completing the signing of former Celtic defender Lewis Toshney.
The 22-year-old, who can play at centre back or full back, was released from his contract at Ross County on deadline day, with Cowden boss Jimmy Nicholl quick to snap up the former Scotland youth cap to bolster their Championship survival bid.
Toshney has had spells on loan with Kilmarnock and of course with Dundee in the 2012/13 season, making 23 appearances in total for the Dens Park club in what turned out to be an ill-fated SPL campaign.
The defender has signed for the Blue Brazil until the end of the season after leaving Dingwall, and joins former Dundee team-mate Colin Nish at Central Park.
Nicholl worked with Toshney during his spell as assistant manager at Kilmarnock, and reckons he will be a valuable asset.
Cowden also added the loan signings of midfielder John Herron from Celtic and young Hearts striker Robbie Buchanan in the weeks before the transfer window closed.
