Forfar boss Dick Campbell is keeping the faith with the side that delivered last week’s 4-1 victory over Ayr.
The triumph has been rated by the boss as one of the best performances in his Station Park reign, and after a couple of slack performances he hopes it has reignited the Loons’ appetite for the fight as they prepare to take on East Fife at Bayview.
“Ayr have to be given credit for making last week’s game what it was, but as far as Forfar are concerned, some of the stuff we played was as good as I have seen in my time here.
“It was great to get a performance and a result after a poor couple of weeks and we just look as if we’ve got a nice fresh hunger in us.”
He added, “We’ll go to East Fife and see what’s in front of us, but I’ll be sticking with the same side and the same subs.
“Obviously I was delighted with the way they played last week so I’m happy to keep things as they are, but I’ve also still got several guys sitting on the sidelines.
“Paul Lunan, Steven Tulloch, Jamie Bishop and Barry Sellars are carrying injuries and they are players who have made a big contribution to the side in my time here.
“But I’ve thrown youngsters like Dale Hilson, Scott Allan and Bryan Deasley in and they’ve repaid me with a lot of hard work.”
