Dundee boss Barry Smith insists nobody at Dens is taking anything for granted as they prepare for the visit of relegation favourites Stirling Albion on Sunday.
The Binos, managed by former Dark Blues boss Jocky Scott, have not won in their last 21 league matches and could already be doomed to the drop by the time they travel to Dundee if Cowdenbeath triumph at Raith Rovers 24 hours earlier.
But Smith, who was an interested spectator as Stirling went down 2-0 at Morton on Tuesday, is still expecting a tough test as his side attempt to ease awayfrom the first division play-off spot.
“I have watched Stirling a few times this season and, despite where they are in the league, I think they are a decent side,” said Smith.
“As Jocky has said himself, they have been getting punished for making single mistakes in games. They are no pushovers not many teams beat them by a few goals.
“It will be up to us to get them to make that mistake if we are going to win.
“Nobody here is thinking it will be easy.”
Dundee will be without suspended defenders Craig McKeown, Rhys Weston and Gary Irvine, so Smith will have to make changes.
However, Nicky Riley and Craig Forsyth return after serving bans and the Dundee boss still believes he has the necessary personnel to pick up another priceless victory.
“We will have Nicky and Craig back and the rest will have done them good,” he added. “They have been big players for us so we are delighted to have them available again.
“We are without three defenders because of bans so we will have to shuffle things about.”
