Dundee United are being linked with a move for Airdrie United’s Gary McKay-Stevens.
The 20-year-old left winger has been training at Tannadice and his current boss Jimmy Boyle has tipped him to be a success in the SPL.
The player, who left Ross County for Liverpool at the age of 17, signed for the Diamonds in the last transfer window and is also now believed to be attracting the attention of Hibs, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock.
Boyle said, “I doubt Gary will be with us next season. He has bags of ability and is a very, very exciting talent.
“He has pace, great skill and can cross the ball. He has all you need to play in his position.”
He added, “Dundee United have had him in training with them recently and I think they are keen on him, and I would imagine there will be other clubs looking at him as well.
“If he gets a move, he deserves it because he has been great and we would not stand in his way.”
