Dundee United boss Peter Houston will be tuning in to the Slask Wroclaw show as he plots a path to Euro success.
Houston has several DVDs of the Tangerines’ Europa League second qualifying round opponents in action, to supplement the account of coach Paul Hegarty, who saw them in a friendly against Dinamo Zagreb at the weekend.
Now the Tannadice boss will be glued to the TV ahead of next week’s trip to Poland.
He said, “I will spend a couple of nights in front of the telly going through them over the next few days. It is so important to get as much information as you can.
“What we will do is cut the DVDs down and then have a session with the players early next week to get the lads up to speed.”
He added, “It is going to be a tough game, we already know that, but we will be looking closely for any little bits we can get from the videos.”
The match at the Oporowska Stadium next Thursday will be a sell-out, with Slask supporters having already bought all their tickets and United fans sure to snap up their 476 allocation.
Houston has been doing online research and expects a hostile atmosphere.Strong atmosphereHe said, “We have heard that they sold all their tickets out in a couple of hours so the tie has obviously captured the imagination of the locals.
“They are obviously a team really on the up.”
He added, “I have had a look at their stadium, too.
“It is a tight wee ground and if it is a sell-out there will be some atmosphere.
“I would like to think our lads will be inspired by that and we can come back to Tannadice for the second leg with something.
Polish police have urged United fans without tickets to stay away from Wroclaw.
While Slask officials do not expect any crowd problems they only want those attending the game to travel.Season ticket holdersTicket sales for the away leg start at the club shop at 9am on Thursday to season ticket holders only on a first come, first served basis.
They are priced at £12.50 and are restricted to one per season ticket voucher.
Supporters should present voucher B from their book if purchasing in person or quote their season ticket seat and book numbers if ordering by phone.
Fans are also requested to supply passport details when buying, which will be then verified by the Polish police when entering the stadium.
Each United supporter is therefore obliged to have their passport with them at the match.
